1881-1915

THE UNTOLD STORY

The HALDER family's journey began in the late 19th century when they acquired a few acres of land in a village in West Bengal, India. Observing the potential of agriculture as a decent means of livelihood, the family began farming and dedicated themselves to maximize their land's productivity through hard work and persistence. This marked the beginning of their long and storied story in the agricultural industry. They overcame the initial challenges of farming with dedication and hard work. Slowly and steadily, they began to acquire more land, and by 1915, they had become a prominent farming family in the region

1915-1945

FROM HUMBLE BEGINNING TO FLOURISHING LEGACY

The farming legacy continued to flourish, the family gradually acquired more and more lands, and by the 1940s, they had expanded their holdings to over 1000 acres of fertile land. In 1930 they established their first rice mill, the largest that time in West Bengal. The family's success was not just limited to agriculture, and they were also known for their philanthropic efforts in the local community. Their journey from humble beginnings to becoming successful landowners was a testament to their hard work and dedication, as well as their deep understanding of the land and the importance of indigenous farming practices

1945-1970

THE TURMOIL IN THE WAKE OF CHANGE

After reaching the height of their farming success, the HALDER family's fortunes took a downturn in the years following Indian independence. Political unrest and the implementation of land reforms by the Indian government impacted agriculture business. Situations were not convenient for large landowners and eventually the family had to sell off their land holdings. Despite the challenges, the HALDER family remained committed to agriculture, and their passion for farming never waned. Over the next few decades, the family pursued other career options, but the memory of their farming legacy stayed with them

1970-2016

TRANSITIONING HORIZONS, A NEW CHAPTER UNVEILED

After the Halder family sold off their landholdings in the 1970s, the family’s focus shifted from agriculture to other career pursuits. This generation of the family sought opportunities in other fields such as engineering, medicine, and business. They invested their time and energy into building their professional careers and expanding their knowledge, but the legacy of their family's agricultural past was never far from their minds

2016-2022

A RESURGENCE OF ROOTS

After years of pursuing different career options, the HALDER family decided to revisit their agricultural roots. In 2016, they began conducting extensive research on modern farming techniques, evaluating investment opportunities, and talking to industry leaders. They were determined to bring their family legacy back to life The HALDER family invested a significant amount of time and resources in researching and learning about the latest advancements in agriculture. They recognized the need for sustainable farming practices and the importance of using technology to maximize yield and minimize environmental impact. Through their research, they identified several promising investment opportunities that aligned with their values and goals Over the next few years, the HALDER family carefully evaluated each opportunity and developed a strategic plan for their new venture

2022 Onwards

RESURRECTING THE LEGACY, FORGING A NEW JOURNEY

Finally, in 2022, the HALDER family launched a new chapter in their agricultural journey - HEDLA HARVEST CORPORATION. The company is dedicated to delivering top-notch agricultural products, and to achieve this goal, they blend contemporary farming methods with the family's profound agricultural knowledge and inherited domain expertise. They are excited to implement their vast knowledge and experience, which has been passed down through generations, to make a significant impact in the field of agriculture.
